BIOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY

Connor is a third-year graduate student focusing on the morphological variation of the skull in hominins, humans, and extant apes. Specifically, how does cranial shape vary between sexes and during ontogenetic development in response to environmental stressors, social structure, and dietary preferences. He has done archaeological fieldwork in Malawi focusing on subsistence strategies of Middle and Early Stone Age hunter-gatherers, and plans to return to Malawi to investigate hominin presence in southeast Africa connecting fossil bearing sites in east and South Africa.
