We are very pleased to have you join the Anthropology Department in celebrating our Spring 2019 graduating students! To assist you in planning we have gathered a few notes about the Anthropology Graduation Reception:
- The 2019 Anthropology Department Graduation Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 11, from 7:45 AM until 10:00 AM in room 8417 Social Sciences; there will be a short program at 8:15 am.
- To get to room 8417: Please enter the building from the Observatory Drive main entrance. This will bring you to the building Lobby on the 6th floor. (signs will also be posted on Graduation Day)
- From the Lobby proceed straight ahead towards the lake side of the building and through the glass doors.
- This will bring you to the two North elevators on the lake side of the building. Take the elevator to the 8th floor.
- Room 8417 will be immediately to your left as you exit the elevator.
- Parking on campus (link to maps here) for commencement activities will be free Friday, May 10 – Sunday, May 12.
- On Saturday, May 111, a complimentary shuttle bus service will be available to transport participants and guests around campus, operating approximately every 10 minutes, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The wheelchair-accessible shuttle will run on two loops, encompassing the west campus and downtown areas.
