I am interested in investigating the development of copper-based metallurgy as it progressed in South Asia using a combination of experimental replication techniques, and isotopic chemical analyses. I aim to determine the functionality of copper implements during the Mature Harrapan phase in the Indus Valley with regards to procurement, manufacture, use, and disposal. I am also interested in the identification of organic residues preserved within corroded copper-based tools.
