Biological Anthropology

Irene is a biologist and a third-year PhD student in the Strier lab who is interested in Neotropical primate conservation. She aims to understand how habitat loss and fragmentation affect spider monkeys, and, in particular, brown-headed spider monkeys (Ateles fusciceps fusciceps) inhabiting forest fragments in western Ecuador.
