Caitlin Benedetto is a PhD Candidate in cultural anthropology. Her dissertation research focuses on contemporary feminism in Yangon, Myanmar, to explore the transformative possibilities and limits of activism. She is also interested in feminist approaches to ethnography and teaching. She has previously conducted ethnographic research in Tanahun District, Nepal. She received her M.A. in Anthropology from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and her B.A. in Anthropology and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Cornell University in 2012.
