ARCHAEOLOGY
I am interested in studying social diversity within settlements and its expression through material culture. My research focuses on the analysis of ceramics to examine the relationship between social identity and domestic practices and foodways. My work is focused on the Epiclassic period at the site of Chicoloapan in the southeastern Basin of Mexico, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Clayton. Additionally, I’m interested in geospatial analysis and the applications of GIS in archaeological research.
