Vanessa Smolenski
Vanessa Smolenski is a second-year archaeology graduate student. Her main research interests include European Prehistory and the transition to agriculture, with a primary focus on Portugal . She has experience in various Portuguese regions, site types, and prehistoric time periods. In the Summer of 2007 she was part of the field crew that excavated a coastal site in Denmark on the Asnæs peninsula, under a project led by Dr. T. Douglas Price. This academic year she plans to focus mainly on being a Teaching Assistant for Anthropology 100 and studying for her Master's Qualification Exam
