Bernadette Cap
Bernadette is a dissertator in the archaeology section. Her area of study is ancient Mesoamerican, specifically the Maya. Her current research focuses on economic exchange systems of the Maya and methodological issues of identifying marketplace activities. Some of her other interests include the application of microartifacts, soil chemistry, and soil micromorphology to understand the use of “vacant terrain.”
