Conservation: My Philosophy & Work
is my extremely strong belief that as academic scientists we simply do not have the luxury of not seeking solutions to the complex and devastating conservation issues that face our planet today. I have worked hard over the years - in all realms of academia (research, teaching, service) - to address issues of critical conservation concern; this not only includes work in Africa, but also in Australia, India, and closer to home as well within North America. I do this because I believe that as citizens of the planet we can make a difference. There are many www-sites that can provide excellent examples of what you can do. Here are a few:
